A soft Scottish accent — Ewan McGregor-style — for Singletrack Magazine.
Singletrack Magazine recently got in touch to ask me if I'd provide voiceover for their new 'Choose Life' promotional video. I checked them out, found out more about the promotional video, and was more than happy to be part of the project. The script is great — packed with humour — and I love the less-than-subtle nod to Trainspotting! I don't have anything else quite like this to recommend watching but, if you're interested, you may like my Netflights Grinfreeze and Lending Crowd videos as I think they're also funny, but with very different senses of humour. If you have a funny script, I can help deliver the jokes!
I'm not a mountain biker, so I hadn't heard of Singletrack Magazine when they got in touch. However, when I did a little bit of research I discovered they were a pretty huge deal in the mountain biking world. Needless to say, it was a no-brainer to take the job and work with these guys — especially because they had such a strong script for me to work with. Singletrack Magazine seem to have everything you need to read and watch if you're mad enough to enjoy hurtling down hills at the speed of light! I think the promotional video turned out really great and the guys at Singletrack seemed really happy.
If you're working on a new commercial, explainer video, or even a game trailer, and you need a versitile voiceover artist to help you take it to the next level, then please get in touch. I'm always happy to hear from new companies and to consider new jobs. If you're not sure if my voice is the perfect fit for your project, I will be more than happy to provide you with a fee voiceover sample from your script. It's also worth remembering that I can usually record and send back my voiceover on the same day it's requested; I do this because I know people are usually working to extremely tight production schedules!
