Becca's Bunch. Now having a big impact on the small screen.
I'm thrilled to announce that I play Ringo the bus driver in the new children's TV show Becca's Bunch. They asked for my best cockney accent, which is a style I perfected years ago.
We recorded 50 episodes of Becca's Bunch and it's gets fantastic reviews (like this review from TBI vision). I've provided a few voiceovers for cartoons before, including the GoJetters Christmas Special and a promo video for Teletubbies. But this is definitely the one I'm most excited about — See the credit on IMDB!
Becca's Bunch was made by the Dublin-based studio Jam, with help from Factory, the UK team behind The Clangers. The show follows a group of enthusiastic animal children led by the delightful Becca — a little bird with a sense of adventure. The story and characters are nice, and the voice acting is great (if I say so myself), but the best thing about it is the unique animation style. Jam and Factory had a budget of €8 million to play with and they've managed to combine a mixture of puppetry, live action, 2D and 3D animation. The show is on Channel 5 Milkshake and NickJr every day at 7pm.
Are you looking for a voiceover artist with a wide range of characters to contribute to your next animation project? Perhaps you're making the promo video for the finished show and you need a nice energetic voice? Well I'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to get in touch. If it helps you figure out whether or not I'm right for your project, I'm happy to record a sample of your script for free first.
