A great little TV ad for Falcon's Alkoholfri beer
As I often say, I prefer not to roll out my David Attenborough voice for every single brand that asks. I like to test the water a bit, rread the script, and make sure that the idea behind the commercial is good. I'm not nearly as selective with my other impressions, but I'm asked for my David Attenborough voice all the time, and I'm only ever as good as the last ad I provided voiceover for, so I like to make sure it's great. Fortunately for me, Falcon's ad was really nicely made. If you'd a few more examples of my Attenborough voice, check out my Horizon Zero Dawn and Lions and All Blacks videos.
Falcon is a Swedish brewery founded in 1896 by John L Skantze. It was founded Falkanberg, in Sweden, which is where it gets its name. The brewery continued to be successful for decades until Carlsberg bought the company in 1996. Falcon is still a much-beloved beer and this ad they had me voice captures a little bit of what makes the brand so good. It also required me to learn and deliver some pretty difficult Swedish words — something I think I managed pretty well! It was great to work with these guys. It was a great script and I'm really happy with how the whole thing turned out!
If you like what you heard on this Falcon commercial and you'd like me to do something similar for your next TV ad, or perhaps for an explainer video, then please feel free to get in touch. I have a vast range of different voices and I am always happy to try something new. If you need to hear a sample of my voice reading your script, I will be more than happy to oblige. Let's make something great together!
