Working with Manchester City and Midea

The people over at Midea got in touch with a very exciting new commercial featuring some of Manchester City FC's biggest players. I had a look at the video, read the script, and took the job more or less straight away. If you watch the video, you'll see why Midea asked for a my football commentator voiceover. I've said this a few times before, but it amuses me just how much work my football commentator voice gets me. Why is it amusing? Because I watch little to no football! Needless to say, I must have absorbed everything I need to, as I continue to get companies asking for my best football commentator voiceover, and they're always happy with the end result. A Little More About Midea

Midea is one of the world's leading home appliance manufacturers, with huge ranges of top-quality washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, dishwashers, and many more types of appliances it's hard to imagine modern life without. Midea has its headquarters in China, but it's big enough to have bases in several other countries around the world. In this way, football was the perfect topic for this ad campaign as football is something everyone enjoys, all around the world. Everyone except me, of course... I think the video they created is really great and it was a genuine pleasure working with the folks at Midea.
