Working with Film maker Natasha Stanbridge this is a fine example of my Pathe News Voice. Try this 1940's voice.
The voice of Pathe News ran for years and years. It's certainly a distinctive sound. Some people often simply think of this voice as the classic BBC voice. If you're searching for the right voice to bring some magic to a production that has a vintage look or feel to it, maybe we can work together. I'm always happy to audition a few lines first to check its right for your product or production. I also have a dedicated Pathe News Voice with more examples of my work, such as when I worked with Horlicks and Everton.
The Pathe Voice was the main sound of Britain during the early-to-mid 20th century and its sound is incredibly evocative of WWI and WWII as it was used a lot in war films in the decades after WWII. There is something nostalgic about this voice style that seems old-fashioned (but in a good, wholesome way) and this makes it perfect for promo videos selling products that tap into any sense of British nostalgia. i love doing this voice and I'm always happy to bring it out of the box for a new project.
Are you looking for this voice style? Perhaps for an explainer video instead of a commercial? Please get in touch. I'd be very happy to send a short sample of your script to you before you book me. Please send a few lines of the script first so you can be sure I'm right for your brand. I make the whole process as easy as possible with 99% of the jobs delivered the same day.
