Bringing Salty to Life in 'All Engines Go'
In the reimagined series, Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, I have the pleasure of voicing Salty – the seasoned dockside diesel with a love for tall tales and the sound of the sea. A fan-favourite character, Salty is known for his wisdom, warmth, and occasional bursts of nautical nonsense. I was brought in to voice the UK version of the show, giving Salty a classic British flavour and plenty of personality.
This version of Thomas & Friends is bright, fast-paced, and packed with energy – and it was a joy to bring Salty’s trademark sea-dog charm to a whole new generation of viewers. Working on such a beloved global brand was an honour, and I’m thrilled to be part of the engine crew.
