I love pulling out my Patrick Stewart voice every now and then!

Recently, I was contacted by LendingCrowd and asked to provide a voiceover for their great-looking new TV ad. I read the script and listened to what they asked of me, then I suggested my Patrick Stewart voice and they agreed that it was a perfect fit. This voice isn't necessarily a perfect impression of Patrick Stewart — but it's not really trying to be; it's over the top and a lot of fun. This voice is deep, confident, manly, and with more than a little whimsy. This is one of my favourite voices to pull out of the bag. LendingCrowd describes itself as a 'fast-growing peer-to-peer lending platform'. They match investors who are looking for a better return on investment with businesses looking for small business loans. Essentially, LendingCrowd is a great way for investors and people needing investments to find each other. It was great to work with these guys on their TV ad and I liked the close-mic, softly softly approach to the classic Patrick Stewart voice. Sometimes, a shouting message isn't needed!
