The Voice of Cheese Worm in the WORMS Games
When I was first asked to be part of WORMS many years ago, I had no idea just how big and beloved the game was. Out of all the projects I get to voice, this is one that genuinely surprises people the most when I mention it.
If I tell anyone who is even slightly into video games that I voice many of the characters in WORMS, they are usually blown away. It is one of those titles people have grown up with, played with friends, laughed along with and remembered for years. The Voice of Cheese Worm for WORMS
The WORMS games are known for their chaotic turn-based battles, where teams of cartoon worms take each other on using everything from bazookas and grenades to exploding sheep and completely ridiculous weapons. That mix of strategy, silliness and total mayhem is exactly what has made the series so popular for so long.
Voicing a character like Cheese Worm means finding the right level of personality, energy and comedy so the voice fits perfectly into that madcap world. The performance needs to feel playful, distinctive and memorable, helping give the game even more character while matching the offbeat humour fans expect from Team17's WORMS.
